Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Neuron Waves ("we", "us", "our") builds AI-powered screening products, including the Neuron Waves mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our app and website, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By using our products, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and an optional profile photo when you register.

Health & assessment data: when you complete a screening, we collect the video and/or audio recordings you make through your device's camera and microphone (for example, hand-movement or voice tasks), along with any symptom information, diagnosis date, or medications you choose to add to your profile.

Usage & device data: general app usage and device information (device type, OS version, crash logs) used to keep the app reliable and secure. If you grant location permission, we may use coarse location to improve service delivery.

Communications: messages you send through in-app or website live chat, and information you submit through our contact form.

Subscription & payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our payments partner (RevenueCat) — we do not receive or store your full card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve our screening products; run the AI models that analyze your movement, voice, and clinical data and generate your results and reports; authenticate your account and manage subscriptions; respond to support requests and contact-form submissions; send you service-related communications (e.g. account, security, or billing notices); and maintain the security, integrity, and performance of our products.

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our products, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, including: cloud hosting and database providers, our authentication provider (Firebase), our subscription/payments provider (RevenueCat), and our transactional email provider. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews, to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our products, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, as described below.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw any consent you've given (for example, camera, microphone, or location access, which can be managed in your device settings). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where we transfer information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Cookies (Website)

Our website uses essential cookies to remember your language preference and keep the site functioning correctly. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, our website, or by other means before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
